Haviland Consumer Products C003061-CS20Q 1 QT, Combat 30 Polyquat Algaecide Description

The Durachlor Combat 30 product is a powerful liquid formula that controls the growth of algae in swimming pools, exterior spas, whirlpools, and hot tubs. This product is compatible with chlorine based chemicals, and may even reduce the amount of chemicals needed. Combat 30 is compatible with all pool types.

Directions

For pools having just visible green algae growth add an initial dose of 24 to 36 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning. For treatment of freshly cleaned and filtered pool add additionally 13 to 24 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 4 to 9 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons must be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.

Spas, whirlpools, or hot tubs having just visible algae growth require an initial does of of 2 to 4 fluid ounces of algaecide per 1,000 gallons of water. For treatment of a freshly cleaned spa, whirlpool, or hot tub add initially 1 to 2 fluid ounces of algaecide per 1,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 0.5 to 0.8 fluid ounces of algaecide must be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.
